  • Associate Veterinarian

    Bunn Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team at our full service, small animal hospital

    • We offer a four day work week with no weekend hours. Our hospital is open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5:30 PM. We want you to have a healthy work - life balance
    • No after hours or on call responsibilities

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Veterinary Assistants are vital in keeping our hospital running smoothly on a day to day basis. They are responsible for bringing care and comfort to our furry patients as well as understanding to our clients.

    As a Veterinary Assistant, you will assist the Veterinarian during examinations, perform some in house lab work, have the opportunity to assist in surgery, and perform various administrative tasks. One of the most important responsibilities of a Veterinary Assistant is to ensure all areas are clean, for animals and humans alike.

    Who We Are Looking For
    • An individual with excellent communication skills that is able to follow verbal instructions 
    • Someone who is patient and caring with dogs, cats, and people
    • Someone who is organized, a quick thinker, and fast on their feet that will be able to work with the occasional emergency
    • Someone with the ability to meet the physical demands of the position (e.g. lifting 40lbs, standing for long periods, and walking throughout the hospital)
    • High school or higher level of education; a certificate from a Veterinary Assistant program is a plus
    Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals is an asset; however, we are open to training the right individual.
  • Veterinary Receptionist

    The smiling faces of our Veterinary Receptionists are the first point of contact our clients have with our office. They provide a caring, comfortable environment for both our four-legged patients and two-legged clients. 

    As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be responsible for handling all incoming phone calls on our multi line system, which include everything from scheduling appointments to answering client questions. You will need to be comfortable with computers as well as writing in paper patient charts. 

    Who We Are Looking For
    • Someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • A kind and compassionate individual who can keep cool under pressure
    • Someone with experience working with computers and collecting cash, card, and check payments
    • Someone with the ability to meet the physical demands of the position (e.g. sitting for long periods, walking throughout the hospital, and clearly speaking over the phone)
    • High school or higher level of education
    Basic knowledge of caring for companion animals, customer service, and prior reception experience are all a plus. 
  • Kennel Attendant

    The role of our Kennel Attendants is to help in any way needed. Between helping assistants with handling animals and keeping a clean and orderly hospital/kennel, our Kennel Attendants do it all. You will need to be a team player that is willing to step in when needed.

    Who We Are Looking For
    • A hard worker that is not afraid to get a little messy
    • Someone who is ready to jump in and assist the team as needed
    • An organized individual that enjoys housekeeping
    • Someone with the ability to meet the physical demands of the position (e.g. lifting 40lbs, leash walking hospitalized patients, and sweeping/mopping)
    • High school or higher level of education
    Experience as a Kennel Attendant or similar position working with animals is an asset; however, we are open to training the right individual.
